Who pays for this care?

WE HAVE FEES YOU CAN LIVE WITH
As a not for profit agency, charges for all services are based upon actual cost incurred to deliver your care. Some ways home care may be paid for are: Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Veterans Insurance or Sliding Fee Scale.

Your health care is our first concern. If you do not have insurance and are concerned about cost, please call our office and inquire about the sliding scale. Funds voted at Town Meeting and donations help to underwrite the cost of care for those clients who have economic hardships.

REFERRALS OR REQUESTS FOR DNA SERVICES CAN COME FROM ANYONE — patients, family, friends and neighbors as well as physicians and other medical professionals. A DNA nurse can make an evaluation visit to talk about your needs and your home health care options.

• Are disabled or frail and elderly and need help to manage safely at home
• Are recovering from surgery or illness
• Need rehabilitation after a stroke or injury
• Are learning to cope with a new illness such as diabetes or cancer
• Are worried that a parent or grandparent may need help to remain safely at home
• Have a wound that needs nursing care
• Require intravenous therapy
• Are terminally ill and wish to remain at home with comfort care
• Require pain management or any palliative care.
